Everything you need to know about Material Merge. Still have questions?

Yes — Material Merge is free to download and use. You can start immediately as a guest without even creating an account. There are no ads and no premium tiers.
No. You can use the app as a guest right away — no email, no password, no sign-up. When you're ready to back up your data or switch devices, you can convert your guest session to a permanent account and everything carries over automatically.
Your data is stored in Firebase (Google's secure cloud platform) and tied to your account or guest session. We never sell your data and we don't access your wardrobe information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
With a registered account (email/password or Google), your wardrobe syncs across devices automatically. Guest sessions are device-local, so you'll want to create an account before switching phones.
Each item on a hanging rod gets a numbered slot — lower numbers are toward the left. Slot 1 is the first item from the left, Slot 2 is next, and so on. This one-to-one mapping means you can stand in front of your closet and count directly to the item you need.
Go to Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This permanently removes all your items, photos, and account information from our servers — no waiting period, no residual data. You can also contact us at support@materialmerge.com for manual deletion assistance.
Material Merge is currently iOS-only. An Android version is on the roadmap. If you're an Android user who wants it, let us know — demand helps us prioritize.
